Individual Acting Coaching
Every artist approaches acting in a unique way. My goal is to encourage performers to find their own perspective with every character, audition, and callback. I specialize in diving deep with monologues and soliloquies, focusing on bringing the text and story to the forefront of each performance. My work also extends to vocal performers who are looking to strengthen their storytelling through song.

College Acting Coaching
There is not one path for performers when approaching the college auditions and selection process. The right road is the right one for the artist. I offer several packages for the college applicant. From general BA/BFA guidance to pre-screen filming and callback preparation, I aim to make the actor’s college application and audition season successful and rewarding.

Public Speaking Coaching

Monologue Selection
An artist’s choice of monologue can make or break an audition. If you don’t need acting coaching, but are looking for personalized monologues and/or soliloquies, I can help.

Heather is an absolute gem and an incredible acting coach. My daughter started working with her to prepare for an audition and I couldn’t believe the progress after just one session. After a few times of working with Heather she landed her first lead role! She genuinely cares about her students and is a joy to work with.

Heather LaForge is a top notch acting coach. The difference in my daughter’s acting and confidence after working with Heather was evident to all. She helped my daughter to focus, slow down, and enunciate her lines. She also helped her with specific techniques. I highly recommend Heather for audition prep as well as continual training to improve all of your acting skills.

Working with Dr. LaForge not only allowed me to explore character in a compassionate and thoughtful way, but encouraged me to look at myself as an actor with those same values. Every performer would be lucky to work with such a passionate and encouraging teacher and mentor.

Working with Heather was such a wonderful experience. She picks material in a collaborative way that is personal to you and coaches in a wa that allows you to attain a fresh, grounded, and original interpretation. She does all while teaching you technique to help you improve in the long run. In addition to fantastic coaching, she was an immense help through the college audition process. Her coaching was versatile whether I was looking to build repertoire or prepare a monologue last minute.
